A decision is made to implement a new training concept for the 2023 season

The considerations that the head coach of JacaCoach has been having for a long time about diversifying cycling training will come into force.
Endurance training but something else very important.
All this in the new season of 2023.

Author’s training concept

JacaCoach decides to move away from the long-standing cycling training regimen.
The trainer believes that it is harmful to the full development of the body.
Observations have been going on since the late 1990s and a new, healthy and more developmental approach to practicing endurance sports is necessary.
The approach is proven and works.
Why this decision? Not everything that works in one group/community of athletes will work in another group of athletes who do not have the same tools and opportunities.

Coaching experience

Hugely important.
The ability to adjust the training load and the ability to understand the athlete are big challenges.
It is easier for a coach who is a former professional athlete to know the problems related to injuries, training too hard, and problems with motivation.
All this is known only too well.
Experienced for yourself.
However, years of coaching experience allow you to learn to translate your own experience into meeting the needs of the player and sometimes solving his/her problems.
A player is always an individual and unique unit.

Reliability

We either do something 100% or not at all.
There is no room for half measures.
There is no room for something that works "somehow".
The trainer's conscientiousness, care for the student and his/her development are priority elements.
If there is something that needs improvement that has not been improved over the years, then there is either no need for it, it has not worked, and it is not beneficial for the person being cared for and their development.

Development of JacaCoach’s profile on TikTok

The aim of profile development is to reach the younger part of society.
Mini educational films aimed at promoting sport and presenting it in a friendly and accessible form.
Just a few seconds of TikTok with a small but important message, interspersed with longer reflections by the trainer, still in a very accessible form, without unnecessary complicated arguments and going into details.
The viewership of episodes often exceeding several hundred thousand (per video) is quite a reach.

Trainer JacaCoach obtains a diploma in Dietetics and Supplementation

In order to provide complete care to its clients, JacaCoach is expanding the scope of services provided.
Diet is often a key element in a player's development, and a diploma confirming appropriate skills (along with appropriate training and exams) completes all formalities.

JacaCoach publishes dozens of posts in a friendly form, aimed at promoting sport and helping in practicing it safely and effectively.
Each post is a help in understanding the importance of sport in life and a step towards making physical activity a part of everyday life.
The reader receives information from the trainer about cycling training, running training, triathlon, a training plan, tips, and information about training mistakes that should be avoided during training.

Workout flowchart in the JacaCoach app

Flowcharts appear in the application, graphically presenting exercises for a given day.
This is a huge help for the participants, who can visualize the entire cycling, running or swimming training at a glance.
The new product received very positive feedback.

Starts in “MTB Cycling” races

JacaCoach takes part in MTB races.
This is an element that in the past, during competitive cycling, was used to build the so-called endurance and strength base in winter.
Currently, taking part in MTB marathons is a form of competition and an opportunity to develop technical skills.
